Associate Professor of Public Policy at UDP and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at Columbia University Treasurer

Dr. Calvo is an Associate Professor of Public Policy at Universidad Diego Portales, Chile, and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University, with major assignment to the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center. His research interests include aging and the life course, social epidemiology, public policy, subjective well-being, and quantitative methods. His research aims to identify and understand the social factors experienced across the life course that influence the health and happiness of older adults, as well as to evaluate public policies and interventions that can improve their well-being and benefit society as a whole.
